NEW HYBRID ENGINE
The new Hybrid powertrain pairs a self-charging electric motor with a petrol engine across all grades, reducing fuel consumption while improving driving dynamics. With no need to plug in, it’s all good news.
ULTRA EFFICIENT
Swift is more fun, and even more efficient. The clever use of self-generated hybrid electric power takes fuel consumption down to just 3.8L/100km (manual) and 4.0L/100km (auto)^.
HD TOUCHSCREEN
The 9-inch high-definition touchscreen with Android Auto™ and wireless Apple CarPlay® in Swift is angled towards the driver, for vibrant, gorgeous colours and fast, responsive display of all your driving info and media on the road.

Introducing the next-gen Swift Hybrid powertrain – a hybrid system that combines a highly efficient 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine with a self-charging electric motor and 12V lithium-ion battery. The electric motor uses regenerative energy to assist the petrol engine when required, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions without compromising on performance, and with no need to plug in. So, what’s it like to drive? Swift’s advanced hybrid tech drives just like a Swift should, but with less trips to the pump.

9-inch HD touchscreen
Displaying sharp and vivid graphics, the responsive touchscreen is your Swift Hybrid control panel, connecting you to your audio, media, phone and apps via Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ or Bluetooth®. The screen can also display fuel level, cruising range, vehicle warnings, and the wide-angle rear-view camera.
Android Auto™ and Wireless Apple CarPlay®
Seamless connection to your apps for navigation, music, podcasts, calls and more. Talk to Siri or Google Assistant to unlock functionality for your platform. Once connected, the system recognises your device and switches phone content to the touchscreen display as soon as you’re behind the wheel. Simple, smooth, and effortless.
Wide-angle rear camera and rear parking sensors

DUAL SENSOR BRAKE SUPPORT II∅
Two high-tech cameras detect vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles – even dogs – in front of Swift Hybrid. If an obstacle is detected and impact seems possible, the system warns the driver, then actively reacts by applying the brakes as necessary to avoid or mitigate impact.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Your new favourite safety feature, Adaptive Cruise Control makes driving in traffic easier. Using sensors, Swift Hybrid maintains a set distance from the vehicle in front by automatically braking and accelerating to suit your set speed and the flow of traffic.
BLIND SPOT MONITORING∅
Lane changing at speeds over 15km/h is made safer in Swift Hybrid Plus and GLX models thanks to radar sensors on the sides of the Swift that detect and warn you of vehicles in or approaching your blind spot.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING & PREVENTION±
Swift Hybrid detects the road markings and warns you if you approach the edge of the lane, then prevents you from drifting out of it.
TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION
The inbuilt cameras read traffic safety signs as you drive and show icons on the HD display. Missed that school speed zone sign? Swift Hybrid will remind you to reduce your speed and help you avoid a ticket.
